Wired for Love:

How Helping Clients Understand Their and Their Partner's Brain and Attachment Style Can Help Them Defuse Conflict and Build a Secure Relationship.

Featuring Dr. Stan Tatkin

PACT helps couples develop secure-functioning relationships by understanding early attachment and its effect on the brain and nervous system development, and its influence on current experience in rela4onship. Participants learn to help partners regulate each other’s emotions, maintain secure bonds, and foster positive, enduring relationships.

This introduction gives an overview of the PACT principles and prac4ces through a combination of lecture, experiential exercises, demonstrations, and videos. The PACT training is intended for licensed and pre-licensed marriage and family therapists, social workers, counselors, psychologists, and
psychiatrists.

Dr. Stan Tatkin, Psy. D, MFT, founder of the PACT Training Institute, author of Wired for Love, Your Brain on Love, and Love and War, presents a 3-hour introduc4on to Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT®). A fusion of attachment theory, developmental neuroscience, and arousal regulation, PACT is quickly gaining a reputation for effectively treating couples typically thought of as untreatable.
