Semantics and culture play an important role in effective psychotherapy with gay-identified clients. Learn various aspects of gay culture and modern, sex-positive terminology to become better skilled when working with gay-identified clients. Whether it's psychoeducation, therapeutic interventions, or homework assignments, clinicians will learn skills to enhance gay affirmative psychotherapy. Come prepared with your questions and bring business cards to exchange! Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
