Presentation:
Supporting Your Clients through the Challenges of Divorce
What Therapists Need to Know
Presented by: Barry Davis
Divorce is one of the most difficult experiences
that most people ever go through. While the issues that need to be addressed are often complex and highly-charged, therapists can effectively help today’s couples and families navigate divorce with a minimum of discomfort and disruption when they have a good understanding of the fundamentals of divorce, up-to-date information on divorce resources, and information on emerging options available for clients going through divorce. Learn what you can do to help and support individuals, couples and families as they go through this challenging process.
Barry Davis, Founder of Davis
Mediation
, in Manhattan Beach, specializes in helping clients through the divorce process in the most constructive, cost-effective manner possible. He holds Masters Degrees in Clinical Psychology and Conflict Management, is an adjunct professor at Azusa Pacific University serves on the Torrance Family Court and Second Appellate District mediation panels.
